With over 800 Million mobile users in the country, the true power of the mobile medium is yet to be unleashed. We currently focus on two key areas – Education and Business Development and work closely with leading telecom operators in India & Africa.
Founder and CEO
Mrigank has over 13 years of experience in sales and strategy consulting and his last ‘job’ was as a strategy consultant with the Communications, Media and Telecommunications practice of Oliver Wyman (erstwhile Mercer Management Consulting) in the Middle East. Mrigank has over 9 years of experience in the telecom field and has been involved with another startup before. He is an engineer and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Operational Lead – New Business
Neel comes brings with him telecom experience coupled with prior startup experience. He was with the Presidents office at Airtel before becoming a key part of the New products development team there. He has also worked at Spectranet and was a founding member of Rang7 – an online travel destination site. Neel is a passout from Hansraj College and an alumni of IIM Kozikhode
Co-founder & Content lead
Vivek was an entrepreneur during his IIT days, where he was part of a social media venture. He currently handles all content related engagements for Voicetap apart from doing a 100 other things. Vivek was also a part of the Jagriti Yatra ‘08 - an 18 day train journey across India where he got to meet inspiring entrepreneurial role models - and that's also where he met Mrigank. Vivek holds a dual degree in Chemistry from IIT Bombay
Lead - Products and Campaigns
Atit was previously with JP Morgan, where he led a team that managed User Acceptance testing for products in the complex financial world. An adventure sport fanatic, Atit has done almost everything from skydiving, paragliding, mountaineering to extreme water sports like rafting and water-skiing. He has an uncanny ability to think through details and execute them. Atit holds a dual degree in Economics and Engineering from BITS Pilani.
Lead - Technology
Sandip is one of the rare mavericks that you come across who never says ‘no’. Sandip started out at Voicetap looking at the telecom side of things – but has grown to lead a team of 8 for all technology related elements across IVR, IVVR, SMS, Web, WAP and anything else that comes their way. Sandip has previously worked with Dialnet communications and Bharti Infratel and holds an MCA degree.
Telecom specialist
Sudhir is the guy who manages the core telecom platform at Voicetap. Sudhir was an amateur boxer in his yester life and has worked with companies such as NIIT and Dialnet communications in the past. Sudhir holds an MCA degree.
